At the moment, you’re probably receiving two bills – one for your gas and one for your electricity. Or you could have what’s called dual fuel, where both energy types are provided by the same retailer. Regardless of how they are delivered, both bills will outline the charges for supply and usage. Supply is the fee for the connection to the grid for electricity or the mains for gas, whilst usage charges relates to how much energy you have used and can be variable based on the tariff you are on.
